Making an action plan for treatment:

  1. Establish structure and routine in your home.

  2. Have blood-work and genetic testing done to check for any other medical condition that could be causing the symptoms including all vitamins and mineral levels.

  3. Eliminate food dyes and try a gluten free, casein free diet.

  4. Find a good cognitive behavioral therapist and attend weekly appointments.

  5. Have your child evaluated for OT, PT, and SLP services and start therapy if needed

  6. Review lab work with your doctor and begin any supplementing and vitamins or minerals that are deficient.

  7. Talk to your doctor about medication options.
